Somebody trying to reach a mechanic is often stressed, often outdoors, and often on a phone in poor light with one bar of signal. A site that is hard to use fails that person at exactly the wrong moment, so accessibility here is a practical concern rather than a box to tick.

This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA. That standard covers most of what actually matters day to day: readable contrast, keyboard operation, sensible structure and text alternatives for images.

The quote form on this site is an embedded third-party form from LeadConnector. Because it is supplied by another company, we do not control its markup and cannot guarantee it meets the same standard as the rest of the site.

If that form gives you trouble, please do not struggle with it. Calling or emailing us reaches exactly the same place and is usually faster anyway. We would rather hear from you by any route than lose you at a form.

Nothing on this website is the only way to reach us. Every service, every quote and every question can be handled entirely by phone, at any hour of any day. If the site is not working for you for any reason, the phone number is the answer.

If you run into a page you cannot use, we genuinely want to know. Tell us what page it was, what you were trying to do and what got in the way, and what you are using to browse if you know. That combination is usually enough for us to find and fix it.

We treat accessibility problems as bugs rather than suggestions, and we will tell you what we have done about it.
