Terms of Service

These terms cover two separate things: using this website, and having us carry out repair work. Using the site means you accept the website terms. Booking a job means you accept the service terms as well.

This site describes services we offer and gives you ways to get in touch. It is informational. Nothing on it forms a binding quote, a guarantee of availability, or a promise about arrival time.

We try to keep everything here accurate, but details change. If something on the site matters to your decision, confirm it with us on the phone before relying on it.

The figures published on our pricing page are typical ranges, not quotes. What you actually pay depends on where you are, what failed, which parts are needed and what time of day it is.

The real number is confirmed with you before work begins. If the job turns out to be different from what was described on the phone, we stop and tell you before continuing rather than presenting a surprise at the end.

We answer the phone around the clock and we dispatch as quickly as we practically can. We do not promise a specific arrival time, because distance, weather, road conditions and what else is already running all affect it.

What we will do is give you an honest window when you call, and tell you if that changes. We would rather set an expectation you can plan around than one that sounds better on the phone.

Roadside and field repair has real limits. Some jobs cannot be done safely or properly outside a shop, and where that is the case we will tell you rather than attempting it. Our judgement on that point is final, because it is a safety question.

Where we recommend against a repair, or advise that equipment should not be driven, that advice is given in good faith based on what we can see. The decision about what to do with your vehicle remains yours.

We carry common parts and source others as needed. Parts we supply carry whatever warranty the manufacturer provides, and we will pass on the details on request.

If you supply your own parts, we will fit them where it is safe and sensible to do so, but we cannot be responsible for the part itself or for a repair failing because of it.

Payment terms are agreed before work begins. Fleet customers can be set up on account so drivers are not handling payment at the roadside. For everyone else we confirm the accepted methods when you call.

We need safe access to work. On a roadside that means a position where a mechanic can operate without standing in traffic; on private property it means a route our service truck can actually reach and ground it can work on.

If a location is genuinely unsafe to work in, we will say so and discuss alternatives with you. Nobody is served by a repair that puts a mechanic or a driver at risk.

We stand behind the work we do. What we cannot accept responsibility for is consequential loss — missed delivery windows, lost contracts, crop losses or downtime costs — arising from a breakdown we were called to attend.

Nothing in these terms attempts to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms may be updated, and the date at the top reflects when that last happened. The terms that apply to a particular job are the ones in force when the work was agreed.
